making images is an
intensely personal occupation


we should not expect this to be easy for young people


nor should we provide them with a watered-down version depriving them of art with meaning



art without purpose is not art but something of a much lower order


all human beings have the potential to be creative and learn artistry


it is not easy, but it can and should  be developed as a matter of moral urgency


it is a child’s right not only to an education, but to a worthwhile and purposeful one


our global situation demands nothing less

a selection of analogue/hand-made work
the artist reserves the right to electronically scan the work and still refer to it as hand-made
